This page explains what personal information Hydro Structural collects on this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions: william@hydrostructural.com.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address and password (stored only in scrambled form; we cannot read it).
- Your orders: name, shipping and billing address, phone number, email address and what you bought.
- Your courses: which courses are open on your account and until when.
- Login security: the internet (IP) address of failed login attempts, kept for a short time to stop password guessing.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe, including card, Alipay and WeChat Pay where offered. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to the payment.
Why we use it
- to process and ship your order and open your courses;
- to contact you about your order, your course or a seminar you signed up for;
- to keep the records we are required to keep for tax and accounting.
We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to run the shop: Stripe (payments), the shipping company that delivers your order, and the company that hosts this website.
Cookies
The site uses a few cookies so that logging in and the shopping cart work, and the shop may remember which page brought you to the site when you place an order. We do not use advertising cookies.
Videos
Videos come from YouTube (English) and Bilibili (Chinese). Nothing is loaded from them until you press play; after that, those services may set their own cookies.
Where your information is kept
This website is hosted on servers outside mainland China, and payments are processed by Stripe, which operates mainly in the United States. By creating an account or placing an order you agree that your information is stored and processed there for the purposes above.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Your account stays until you ask us to close it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to close your account, by emailing william@hydrostructural.com. We will reply within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.

- 处理和寄送订单、为你开通课程；
- 就订单、课程或你报名的研讨会和你联系；
- 按税务和财务要求保存记录。
我们不会出售你的信息，也不会在你没有要求的情况下给你发营销邮件。
与谁共享
只与经营网店所必需的服务共享：Stripe（付款）、为你送货的快递公司，以及本网站的托管服务商。
Cookie
网站使用少量 Cookie，让登录和购物车正常工作；下单时，商店可能会记录你是从哪个页面来到本站的。我们不使用广告类 Cookie。
视频
英文视频来自 YouTube，中文视频来自哔哩哔哩。在你点击播放之前，页面不会从这些网站加载任何内容；点击播放后，这些网站可能会设置它们自己的 Cookie。
信息存放在哪里
本网站托管在中国大陆以外的服务器上，付款由主要在美国运营的 Stripe 处理。注册账号或下单，即表示你同意你的信息为上述目的在这些地方存储和处理。
保存多久
订单记录按税务和财务规定的期限保存。你的账号会一直保留，直到你要求注销。
